Kansas City Neighborhood Advisory Council: Public Engagement Ordinance

Time | 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The public engagement process described herein provides a setting for an applicant and citizens to engage in a constructive dialogue about a land use of development proposal which may impact the community. By engaging early in the development process, all involved have the opportunity to identify ways to improve the proposal and resolve conflicts prior to public hearing.

The list of application types is:
1. 88-515 Zoning Map Amendments (including rezoning to District UR)
2. 88-517 Development Plan Approvals
3. 88-520 Master Plan Developments
4. 88-525 Special Use Permits
5. 88-545 Preliminary Plats

KCNAC is conducting a draft review meeting Monday March 25, 2019 at the South East Community Center located at 4201 E. 63rd St. We will start at 5:30 pm and end at 7pm. Planning staff would like to present the ordinance at the City Plan Commission April 16, 2019. Please mark your calendar and attend City Planning Commission.
